Save our band programs

Music is one of the most popular forms of entertainment in the world. You hear it walking through a grocery store, over dramatic scenes in movies, in cars, in educational videos, and in many other settings. The applicability of music is endless, and there are many talented musicians that help make music as versatile as it is. These musicians can be self-taught, but many of them come from our high schools and our universities, where music programs kindled their passion to create and perform. Removing music programs only serve to limit and impede our young musicians, as well as stop students from reaping the many benefits of music education. But we, the community, have the power to help maintain our music programs and hold the doors open for our future musicians.
